After finding this watch and getting it serviced (thanks again Craig) I thought it was time to un-box the new addition to the family. The Chronomat 808 was from the original owner who had all the box and papers. Well, I think it's all the papers excluding the sales receipt.

Well it's true - looking for a vintage
watch with a box can be the proverbial pain in a** (rear).
