Post subject:  Breitling Sprint - advice needed on bezel

I am a vintage watch collector in a small way (heuer autavia, hamilton chrono-matic, breitling sprint, couple of 50s/60s omega seamasters, etc.) and have just made an ebay purchase of another sprint (the metal 7730 one like this http://www.watches.co.uk/watch/053f/bre ... rint-2212/). I got it cheap because it is missing the bezel; I have no illusions that finding an exact replacement bezel will be easy, but I wondered if anyone could advise me on a suitable stand-in. I am guessing that breitling 773x bezels are interchangeable(?), but as I have been on the lookout for a breitling chrono-matic bezel for a collection of bits that I hope will be a watch one day, and have only seen one in all that time, I'm guessing that I'll have a similarly painful wait.

From earlier research about heuers and breitlings I understand that many makers shared parts/movements/casings, so I wondered if there were other makes that might have an interchangeable bezel. I'm not after an exact match (although that'd be nice), just a correct fit will do. I'd be grateful for any advice/contacts anyone might be able to give.
