Post subject:  Breitling Sprint Question

Hello All,

I am new to this forum and I wondered if you could help. I have a Sprint from the 1970's that I have had for a while and I am thinking about selling it. It runs perfectly but it has a slight problem, the chrono function sticks occasionally, fairly regularly actually.

The watch runs fine and is quite nice apart from that. The problem is I don't want to go through the process of getting it looked at ( which in London generally means a full service) and I wondered if anyone had any tips on what it might be. Obviously I appreciate the best advice, is go and see a specialist and don't muck about with it, but apart from the correct advice, does anyone have any other tips?

thanks
Graham

If you are planning to sell it then leave it alone and declare the problem. A buyer isn't going to want a partial / incomplete fix and will likely get the watch serviced anyway.

I agree. You're going to lose a little money either way: getting the problem fixed or declaring it.
