Post subject:  NEED SOME HELP WITH THIS

Just purchased this at my jewelry store, need to know a value, not working and is definitely overwound probably needs a full service and dial refinish numbers on back are 593717 and under that is 787, looked on eBay for reference but did not see any, measures around 34.5mm. Any help would be nice.ImageImage

One just sold on ebay a few days ago.

I wouldn't refinish the dial as I've seen a lot worse. You'll be looking around $200-$400 for a full service, more if parts are needed. The 787 is a popular watch and the asking prices and selling prices on ebay have quite a wide range. Nice catch!

+1 on all Paul mentioned, would suggest to contact Craig when he returns from his vacation in early June, he might be able to clean the dial quite a bit, refinishing would add cost and diminish the value for most collectors. Watch is from 1945, movement is a Venus 152, parts for repairs should be readily available.
