I have been given a Breitling Top Time Geneve by my father who has had the watch since the 1960s. It is in excellent condition but does not have a Breitling strap. It has a stainless steel case. Does anyone know what type of strap this would have originally come with? many thanks /Users/garyschlick/Documents/general/ebay/IMG_1044.jpg |

afraid we will have a hard time accessing a pic on your hard drive ? in the mid 60s Breitling neither had special straps nor buckles, in catalog pics I saw black croc and calf - but a lot "works" with them, black/brown/tan croc, calf, rallye, Tropics. |

Thanks for that. Do you happen to know the strap size? The measurement between lugs is 18mm, so I'm guessing from other posts on here 18/16. New to this so I'm not entirely sure what that means. |

18/16 means 18mm at the watch lug and 16mm at the buckle. To fit the watch all you need is a strap that is 18mm at the lugs (watch end) and the approprate buclel/clasp/etc. Nice looking watch. I agree a mesh bracelet would work on that. Congrats and enjoy. |

many of the straps until the 60s were narrower at the buckle, 18/14; you might find some of those. |
