I haven't committed to the replating yet. I'm always torn between removing the patina on a vintage piece or making it look the best it can possibly look. I would have Craig do it since he's a former metallurgist and does a great job. It's been a while since I've had him replate a piece so I've forgotten the cost but it was reasonable.
It would be interesting to know more about these pieces as I'm certain there's probably a story why they got the Navitimer name. I think they probably were the lead in to the Transocean series which closely followed.
