Hi Everyone, Not sure if this is in the right forum section, but I can't decide if my enquiry is a Replica or Franken discussion, or legitimate here...... I am sure the moderators will move me on it its more appropriate elsewhere. ![]() See, heres a thing. I saw an EBay listing some 18 months ago for a watch called a Jean Zurbuchen Navitimer. Funny enough, it was listed in Australia from memory, which was even weirder. It was an 806 with a different name on the dial and back, and it got me thinking; Is this a legitimate version of an 806 or not. We know about O & W, but this one was totally off the charts from my limited experience with Lings. I have checked on the forum, but nothing on this name. I should have kept a copy of the listing, but missed it at the time. ![]() I can also recall seeing a picture along similar lines for an Orator, (somewher) and an authorative description that it was a serious Breitling Old Navitimer I (Ref. 81610). Did not really look like the said model, but took it at face value at the time as being correct. Can anyone add value here on either watch, but in particular on the Jean Zurbuchen? I am interested in the history of this brand, etc. Curious Jim |

Wow, thanks Fred. I could not find anything when I did a search of the forum. Seems like a lot of traffic on this subject and lots of reading to do. Much obliged. Jim |
