Hello

I bought an old chrono with roman numerals that I plan to use as my everyday watch. It is not too pristine, but I might be wrong. It runs fine, keeps good time and is smooth and eay to wind up, so I might have it all sorted and wear it a bit before I have the movement serviced.


Of course there are problems/things to sort out.

First of all the large secong is missing...So if you know of one please let me know.

Secondly the mechanism that engages the stopwatch function is missing. It's a Venus 170. If you have the parts let me know.

Third one of the lugs has brocken off the case. I had it inspected and my ocal watchmaker told me to try and have it laserwelded at a goldsmith's. The goldsmith told me to try and glue it with 2 component glue first, as the repair would cost as much as a new casing. I glued it last night and it is still drying up, so we will see if that works. If not...Do any of you know of a good method/person who can fix this...preferably in Europe.

Lastly If you could help with dating it (Number is:4854xx), or find something that is not genuine about it, please let me know. Only the dial is signed, the number is inside the caseback which is think is correct for that period.

Ok so glueing didn't work...if anybody has a suitable case, or knows where and how it can be repaired...would be much apreciated.
