Has anyone seen this site? www.ewatchshow.com They have a shop outside of Chicago and within the last year or so posted a stash of new old stock Breitlings from the 60s and 70s. Really beautiful pieces. Currently, I'm paying for a 1967 Cosmonaut. The story on how they were able to get these NOS watches is pretty interesting so check it out. |

Old World Jewelers has been selling that stash of watches for about 7 years or more, since I started getting interested in Breitling's anyway. They had a bunch of different models when they first offered them up and now they just have the leftovers. Some leftovers though! There are a few good deals on some of the cheaper watches like the gold 3-register Valjoux 7736 model at $750. I've seen used ones selling for around $1000 on ebay. All these watches need a good service though because they are NOS and the oils have long since dried out. Don't wear them without a service first. Paul L |
