Too clean to be real !
"Ziffernblatt: wunderschönes originales Ziffernblatt mit Patentnummer 217012" is a lie : SN 760271 dates it from 1950, and dials stamped "Breitling Genève" start from 1952.
The hands are clearly WRONG .
:guns: Considering those defects, a "good" price would be under 50% of the 2190€ starting price!

Phil, contacted the seller to ask who did the dial refinishing,
he knows it is refinished but claims not to know who did the work.

for a collector it reduces the value, but for the "casual" vintage aficionado,
the contrary seems true.

here is an example of a refinished 769 - all this seller's watches have refinished
dials, he never admits/mentions it in his extensive descriptions - and look
at the price this and most other of his watches achieve:

yes, $3,300.

The dial is one thing. What about that hour hand? Is it made out of a package staple?
