Friends,

Can you advise as to what a fair price for a good quality 769 would be? Stainless / 18k?

Thanks!
David

not an easy question, what is a "fair price" - are we talking seller or buyer ?

let us put chrono24 or dealer asking prices aside, as well as some rather unrealistic BIN prices quoted on ebay; nice early SS 769 typically sell in the range between $1,500 and a bit above $2,000, though some recent sales for nice pieces but w/ refinished dials surprisingly reached prices well above $3,000; 1940s pieces tend to go a bit higher than the post 1952s.

nice 18k 769s reach a range between $3,500 and $4,000 - rather rarely more than this for really perfect "safe queens".

Euro prices are quite similar.

Fred,

Thanks again, this is exactly what I was trying to figure out. Really appreciate it!
