Hi guys, finally got to doing this. I can confirm that the distances are infact assymetrical on 785's with the V72C movement.

Edge of crown to top pusher outer edge= 0.35 mm
Edge of crown to bottom pusher outer edge= 0.5mm

The pushers distance from the crown/stem is asymetrical on all Valjoux 23 and 72 movement variants. After you have been looking at chronographs for years, you can tell what the movement is by where the pushers are.

Cheers Craig, I thought that was only true of the V72 806's so was curious to check if that applied to the 785 V72 variants too.

No reason why it wouldn't be, the calendar module doesn't impact the chronograph.

yes, we had already established that for my V23c/784, compared it to other V72s; San just wanted to make absolutely sure his V72C was not different.....
and again, San - it does, of course, depend which case size the movement is mounted in - imagine how asymmetrical it would be in a Hercules, an SA or a Legende ....

Cheers Roff, Fred, was just curious if the same rule held for 785's too:)
