Hi!

Not the most frequent poster here, but I do find vintage Breitlings very beautiful. I'm from Sweden and here people don't like Breitlings... :lol:

I have showed you my Chronomat 769 earlier and now I have something new to share with you.

I love the bold design and elegance of the 1940ies so I just fell in love with this one! The ref is 778 an serial is 545882 and the case and index is in pink gold. Lugs have a nice tear drop? design. The blued hands are very precise and beautiful and complete the look. I simply love the look!

I have searched for some info or reference pictures but found none? I guess this case design is pretty rare to come by

what a wonderful piece, never saw a 778 in the metal !
here is a page from a 1940s flyer showing your watch - it seems perfect, like through a timewarp !

Remarkable condition. I just love these hour hands on some of the earlier models.
