this watch showed up on chrono24 yesterday: https://www.chrono24.com/en/breitling/d ... Findex.htm pics not too good, no movement shot, caseback dents are atypical for the massive Breitling gold cases. according to the early 40s Breitling catalog (below) the ref. 762 should be a bi-compax, 766 shoul be the correct ref. no ? still thought not to have it drown in the franken/fake section.

Interesting piece. Certainly has a number of Breitling cues, but have to wonder why the photos aren't better, especially on a $20,000+ sale! |
