My grandfather apparently got this watch in Germany while serving there in 1945. It is not currently in working condition, but I am wondering (1) if anyone has any insight into the particular model, and any other information about the watch, and (2) to get any advice about refurbishing the watch. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

It's a model 123 that dates to 1945. Would like to see the movement, and there are a number of different models, but looks OK to me. We have a watchmaker here - member chronodeco whi is highly recommended and will be able to help with servicing.
