There have been quite a few questions recently about vintage watches that have all suffered from the same problem - later engraving of the Breitling logo. Take a look at this - http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-BREITLING-C ... dZViewItem It's a prime example of the case back and the movement being engraved much later than produced - the dial may be OK. You all know my opinions on Argentinian watches, but take a look at the seller's feedback - makes you think twice doesn't it!! This one's never going to fool anyone who knows anything about vintage Breitlings - the serial number is invalid, but I pity anyone who makes an offer. The other problem is trying to convince eBay to pull vintage listing's is nigh on impossible. |
