Can anyone tell me about this Breitling.

Description

18k white gold Breitling. The case measures exactly 1 inch X 1 inch. The case including crystal is 4 mm thick. Weight is 18.9 grams.

Case back numbers
892257
903

This is before refurbishing putting on a black Stingray band with deployment buckle and giving it to my Wife. I now need a crystal due to being dropped

Any help would be appriciated.

Jeff,

Lovely piece - elegant! I believe it's from the mid-50s and based on the movement and dial markings, it looks totally authentic. A very nice find!

Thanks Joseph

The story I was told by the guy I got it from is;

This mans father was a buyer for a large Jewelry or department store in New York City. This watch was given to him from Breitling.

As soon as I can find a new crystal I will post a current picture. It is beautiful! My Wife loves it.

Nice watch! The serial number dates it to 1959 which would coincide with it's minimalist early sixties style dial. Unusual to find a square watch especially in white gold.
