according to Craig it is an exceptional example of an early 785
I got the movement out of the case I am soaking the case in a water based
cleaner to remove what looked like 40 years of crud. In fact, the pusher
were stuck in the case. Regardless this is an exceptional example of a
Datora including a signature on the chrono bridge and WOG on the balance
bridge. It still had what looked to be the original mainspring in it
In case you come across this on Ebay , do not be alarmed
I do not plan on selling it but I am curious what the market will bear in terms of prices and therefor am trying to get some bids to see what the market is like for these rare pieces. I am however facing some tough decisions as to which pieces may need to go, new kitchens and building extensions to existing houses are quite a bit more expensive than anticipated
I am also spending quite a bit less time on the forum as sickness in the family & overseeing some building work takes up all the sparetime I have at the moment
