Hi - I found this breitling in an antiqueshop a while back, payed 1800 Swedish Crowns for it, = 300 USD, and I was hoping that some one here might help me identify it. All I know is that they started to make these "borduhren" 1936, the same year they started selling to to the RAF, I wonder if it is the same clock???? allsom if it has been known to been used in any specific aircraft???? And the last thing, I like to have a price estimate, this is a funny item, but I am thinking about selling it and putting the money into a regular breitling watch.

Thanks for looking, and all the best.

Will

I've got some info on the flight instruments at home, I'll take a look this evening, but not expecting to find much - they aren't terribly well documented.

As far as I know the only variations were in terms of size and function - I don't think you can match a clock to a specific plane.

Most of them had 8 day movements.

As I suspected, I couldn't find much.

Let me correct myself - looks like there were as many with 6 day movements as 8 day movements.

This is definitely consistent with the pictures that I have, and obviously the one you got (from Richter I suspect).

I can only go by guide prices as I don't know of any recent sales - $200 - $300.
