Anyone familiar with this one? I found one locally and she wants $2.5k+. Any thoughts? Or should I just PM our local vintage guru AKA Roffensian 
PS-I've not seen the piece yet but according to the lady I spoke to it is in great condition but no papers or box. Rey |

Seriously, it's 'the' vintage Breitling - the original Navitimer. It's one of the most documented Breitlings so shouldn't be difficult to identify whether it's right or not. Get me a serial number (6 or 7 digits) and I can give you a good idea of what it probably looks like, but of course get me some photos for the best response. If this is a potential private sale then I suggest that you both go to an AD to have it opened up (serial number may well be on the inside of the caseback, and a movement photo is needed for complete piece of mind. Not going to offer an opinion on value sight unseen. |
