One of my team members just brought this little present for me :D
The seller didnt want to ship to outside the US so it needed to be shipped the our office in Broomfield CO.
and he handed it over today
very nice size @ 38mm , great dial colour
Next service I want to have the plexi changed to something that will make the outer ring more legible

Thanks Roff ! it wears nice as well, just understated enough and not too small
I really like that its SS , makes it still somewhat a tool watch, and the sides seem to have the original brushed finish
Little spotty on the dial but I expect that with this age

That's a beauty. I am just curious, does anyone know why they used an m in "Istanbul?"

Had that question before, Michael.
Stambu(o)l, Istambu(o)l, Istanbul are all correct for the city, leaving out earlier names like Byzantheum and Constantinople

Dracha, that is way cool. I wish I knew more (actually anything) about vintage watches. So many just seem to jump out at me. Looks great on your wrist too!

Very beautiful watch. I'm jealous. Wear it well!
