What kind of movement do you think this one has and why ?

This is the only pic I have and personally I believe this will show a V72 movement when I open it up

very, very much think and hope you are correct, René ! definitely looks like pusher positions indicate a V72.

where did you find this one, looks great and VERY pomising

edit: just saw the listing, you were really quick on that one and quite brave with this rather short description. brave, but most probably smart and lucky again. congrats and fingers crossed.

Thanks Fred ! fingers crossed :D
let me show you what , aside from the pusher position that Kurt pointed out, I think are more clues
Btw I couldnt really figure out the pusher position on that auction so I had to rely on my gut and observations

I have made a comparison between an AOPA wing from a V178 model and the V72 model , you can probably already see the differences yourself in this pic

Image

but this is what I see

1) slightly droopy & pointier wingtips on the V72, where the V178 has upturned wingtips (green circle)
2) top wing roundings are more pronounced , almost a 'shrugging' look if that makes sense ? (red circle)
3) The V72 has more wing shaped wings , the V178 flatter (blue line)
4) the last A in the AOPA logo sits different on the shield (yellow circle)

but this is invisible in the pics the seller posted

Image

Maybe I just gave away the shop ! :D

I really had a lot more in mind to ask him and actually typed it in but didn't send it after I reread it. I sounded like a nut case. Just really irritates me when someone posts a listing like that.

I'm confident that It's a 1954/55 Val 72, the logo and the hands strongly indicates it, the numbers of beads on the dial tells us for sure that it's very early.

I counted 125 beads , so according to my own previous post it should be early '54 , proof will be in the pud.... opening it when I get it, its airborne now and I hope customs wont hold on to it for too long
