Hi guys, just wondering, did Breitling's 806 supplies to other countries besides the US have no BOW/WOG marks on the movement? I ask because I only see examples of movements with BOW/WOG. For non US supplied 806's, there should be examples without those markings on the movement,correct? |

I think they all (99.9%) have it originally , from a Manufacturing point of view its easier to mark everything and have a single production line to meet 1 specific requirement than have 2 production lines to leave something off (BOW/WOG) that isnt required in other countries I believe teh USA was also the biggest market for these watches so it makes sense to just mark them all |

As far as I know WOG is on the movements after 1966 instead of BOW (only 1954/55). |

I believe BOW was used until 56/57 and WOG from 57/58 onwards but I cant seem to find many 1957's , at least no untampered pieces, so thats why I am cautions with the 56/57/58 range but generally 1956 and older have BOW , 1958 and younger have WOG here's the info I gathered with a link to a spreadsheet with that info included viewtopic.php?f=11&t=34271&p=252463 |

Yeah WOG is valid, long, long before 1966. |
