Hi all,

I just wanted to publicly thank and recommend Chronodeco for his excellent work. I shipped him my 809 as soon as I acquired it, and just received it back. Its looking fantastic, and running like.. well... a Swiss watch. While it didn't need an extreme restoration, it did require some some skill to rebuild the barrel of a second hand glued in error, and the precision to take it apart and get it all back together again. (something I am in awe of, since I have historically been challenged with this in various mediums)

Add me to the list of Chronodeco devotees.

Some pics of the process from him and an "on the wrist" shot with its new band. I am a happy camper.

Impressive. Is there a "before" picture floating around here somewhere?
