Post subject:  Best vintage Breitling books?

Hi, just wondering if there are any vintage Breitling books with well documented pictures? Just saw mention of Benno Richter Lester , does he have a book yet? Kurt, we need you too to come out with one esp on the 806's:) and Dracha, one with your research maybe?

cruvon, the de facto standard book all of us have is by Benno Richter:
http://www.amazon.com/Breitling-History ... 535&sr=1-1

Often listed on ebay, but always more expensive than on Amazon.

Not good, full of errors, mostly just pictures with questionable valuations and facsimiles of Breitling advertising and catalogs. But it is all we have in print, besides our own research, that is often a lot better than what Richter publishes.

Lester Harrison is a trader in vintage watch parts, a great and helpful guy, who has created a list of models out of Breitling catalogs that I have adapted a little and just published this week:

Who cares what the reviews are on Amazon. Every time this question gets asked the members here say that it is the best available despite its many flaws. Isn't that worth more than an Amazon review?

The other useful reference recently is Breitling's own 'Breitling The Book' that came out a couple of years back. Not a huge amount of new information, and not cheap, but it's worth having.
