Just wondering, is luminova used for reluming vintage Navitimers now? Am assuming tritium(60's+) and radium(in all 50's 806"s and other models), which these watches originally had, is now a controlled substance since is radioactive and so can't be used for a relume? Also have seen some relumes made to be a yellowish patina shade that's made to match with the dial lume, how do they do that? |

It depends who does the work. Tritium is still used in some jurisdictions, although it's harder to get pastes these days, and there are also modern cheaper alternatives to SL. Would need to see examples of what you mean on the colours, but lume is available in different colours. |
