Is this an actual model or is it a "Franken"

OK, I know why it rang bells - take a look at Page 3 here - http://www.breitlingsource.com/books_70s.shtml. It's not the same, but close enough. This is obviously a version for a specific purpose - the 3 o'clock subdial is bugging me because I don't know what the 15 minutes in 5 minute intervals are for - it's not a yachting countdown because that would be 10 minutes (and likely not the first minutes of the chronograph). I'm also not sure if the two colour bezel is supposed to mean anything. You'll notice that the triangle marker is missing from the 12 o'clock position. |
