Hi, am quite surprised that Breitling didn't come up with a limited version Navi with their inhouse B01 movement commemorating the 1st Gen all Black AOPA dial, instead they commemorated the 2nd gen Navi this far with the beautiful limited edition of 2000, with the exhibition caseback and having the B01 movement. How many think a 1st Gen black dial commemoration will be next on the list?

not really vintage but here's one that was released in Japan only
I am still on the lookout for one of these black ones (have been for a few years) but so far only saw a white one for sale
an all black navi with a B01 Mvmnt as an hommage to the all black V72's & 806's with beads bezel would be nice though !

Wow, that's a beauty. Why no lume on the numbers or are they gilt? Was that a Gen 1 commemoration model or they came up with a black dial just like that?

Why no lume ? , you'll have to ask Breitling
But it was a 400 pcs Japan only special edition , with 400 pcs all black dial and they had 400 pcs all white dial , both with the glass back and lemania hand wound movement

nice and rare, those Japan LEs, have been looking for a black one for ages, the white on offer was a bit too costly for my tastes, did not see it sold ?

the black one only misses the beaded bezel, rest is quite ok for a homage to this ancestor from 1956:

That's a beautiful ancestor, loving the vintage look on it.
