Hi guys,


I've asked several people who supposed know about Breitlings but can't seem to get the proper answer. One friend feels that they are exactly the same while two other say while close the crystal is not a match and therefore is not interchangeable. I guess I should have come here in the first place.

So here goes

1) Is the 1806 and the 1809 crystal exactly the same?

2) If not can an 1809 or 1806 crystal be interchanged even though they are slighly different?

There may be very slight variations from year to year, but cases are identical to the best of my knowledge so the crystals should certainly be interchangeable. Don't have two to hand right now for comparison but I have never noticed any difference and I would be very surprised if they were not identical.
