am i the only one that finds this hard to believe? new old stock that is 30 years old??

Old World Jewellers had 100s, perhaps 1,000s of NOS pieces from the bankruptcy that it's taken them years to sell.

Breitling never went into bankruptcy. It closed in December 1978. The existing inventory was divided between survivors and Ron Geweniger bought half of the inventory in the late 1990s. We can look forward to the other half coming on the market some day. I see that Ron only has NOS stop timers/watches for sale now.

You're right of course Bill - Breitling avoided technical bankruptcy by the skin of their teeth by selling everything to multiple parties :lol:

well, they do exist .....
Ron Geweniger had some not too long ago (though at a much more reasonable price point) and one found it´s way to Vienna.
in the metal this is a very nice watch, case has excellent build quality.
