This has got to be a grail watch if I ever saw one. I don't think it will get near what he wants for it ($7k) but will be interesting to see what the bidding will do. Very nice indeed, but..... Does that crown look like rose gold vs. the rest in yellow gold? |

A shade or so of difference is pretty common. Plus the case hasn't been polished, or anything, to match. |

Yeah, you're probably right - it just looks a bit odd. Lovely watch though and now in my watch list has been on my watchlist for some time, beautiful. Though I also doubt it will reach the sum the seller seems to want. Another non-Premier but Breitling marked bridge in an 18k piece from the mid 40s, there seems to be no real logic to this. |
