Post subject:  How to source a Leather band for an 809

Hi All,

After almost a year of searching I have finally acquired a lovely '66 809. It came with the oft maligned mesh bracelet, and I'd like to change it out to something more subtle. I know Mr. Shane sells the traditional black leather bands with buckles, but I am looking for something I've seen on this board before which was a black leather band with white stitching and a deployment clasp.

Anyone know where i can source this in the proper width for an 809?

Thanks in advance.

Congrats on the pick up!

The leather with white stitching and deployant is the contemporary Breitling strap - you can get one from any AD.

Roff is correct , its the 'normal' 22mm Breitling OEM strap w/ deployment clasp
