I just bought this off e-bay. Being that I have a NOS (new old stock) Navitimer that was mint and fresh already in my collection, I know these things can float around.

But this dial is so pretty. It all looks 100% legit, and the tritium hour markers look exactly like my other watch under a magnifying glass. But the registers are golden in the circular center and silver around the edges. I haven't seen this before on others. But frankly some pictures on the net are not great.

Any opinions? Even if it is a redial, it is so smokin' hot on my wrist I don't care. And for $2400 I feel it is worth the money.

What's the serial number - that will help answer the questions.

Serial number is 1085399, but I can’t really see how that helps in answering his question about the dial . . . ! !

The case has been polished, the sliderule has been replaced and the tritium inside the hands has definitely been replaced.

In order to answer your question I will need to see a close up picture of one of the markers.

The questionable dial and sellers unwillingness to supply better pictures was the reason that I did not buy it.

If the tritium on the dial is original the price was fair, if it has been replaced it has killed the collectible value IMO.

Don’t worry about the registers, they are OK.

Feel free to post a picture of your NOS Navitimer if you want a verdict on that one as well.
