As it is quite tricky to impossible to just swap casebacks on these, maybe Breitling really put those 809 casebacks on regular Navis due to some case shortages ? the fact that the seller claims this to be solid 18k aside. |

I dont believe this is solid 18K case but rather gold plated One possibility might be that someone regretted having a cosmo and reverted it to a 12H model by swapping the 24H gear, which is a single gear, and the dial ? I am still contemplating swapping casebacks myself to find out whether or not its possible

Looks like a GP as Dracha says, which makes the SS caseback accurate. I have heard a lot about how difficult it is to swap casebacks but I just don't understand what makes it so difficult. After all these are machined pieces within tolerances. |

All 1967th modells are assembled from differend modells. |
