http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Breitling-Vin ... 1e6613fca3 This is probably the fifth Navitimer that I see with a (apparently perfectly fitting) 809 caseback. As it is quite tricky to impossible to just swap casebacks on these, maybe Breitling really put those 809 casebacks on regular Navis due to some case shortages ? the fact that the seller claims this to be solid 18k aside. |

I dont believe this is solid 18K case but rather gold plated One possibility might be that someone regretted having a cosmo and reverted it to a 12H model by swapping the 24H gear, which is a single gear, and the dial ? I am still contemplating swapping casebacks myself to find out whether or not its possible ![]() |

Looks like a GP as Dracha says, which makes the SS caseback accurate. I have heard a lot about how difficult it is to swap casebacks but I just don't understand what makes it so difficult. After all these are machined pieces within tolerances. |

All 1967th modells are assembled from differend modells. |
