I very much doubt this es authentic, but it is rising to surprising levels even for an authentic 2-register piece?
Am I missing something ?

Lack of movement shots scares me off, but the dial looks pretty good. Can't quite read the reference number, but so many companies used this style of case in the 70s they are often franken.

yeah, dial looks good, but the reference number does not look like any Breitling no. I know.

what i see is: 1754-Z-69 ?
even if the "Z" is a "7", this would be outside the serial no. range & nothing resembling a Breitling ref no. ?

franken at best, I´m afraid the only authentic part is the dial ?

The price it has gone to is crazy for what's likely to be a Valjoux 7730 with a non original crown.

A couple of people obviously believe that it's real.

Sandoz case, Watchco NOS unsigned dial signed Breitling, non waterproof crown (crown tube removed to make alignment easier). Bids look REALLY fishy too. Looks like another S America fake fronted in Fl.

back on the market with a even higher BIN now, reason stated:
buyers wife did not let him keep it, so check with your wife before you bid.
smart woman

Now there's a buyer who wasn't thinking in the future - a cautionary tale indeed :!:
