Hi JOJO, thx for your reply
If I understand correctly, they're aftermarket, not original?
806's were never delivered with these in the sixthies?
regarding the navitimer strapps and bukle
United states during this period had a Trade enbargo against switserland
which led to the watches were delivered to the United States without bands and not compleatly build to walk around this
during that period, there are bands that are labeled with Breitling sold in countries not affected by this but as well as those sold bands presumably made in the usa labeld Wakmann
at that time was the brand departments not so accurate that the watches were sold exactly the same all over the world
and Wakmann was created for market outside the embargo
United States had "Wakmann"
France had "LIP"
Sweden had "Chronometer Sockholm"
bands I've come in contact with have either Wakmann embossing or Breitling
but also completely unmarked tape aternativt where the label worn away by the use of them
buckle has newer been noticed in the label way, but quite simple in stainless steel no bretling lable
if someone else has more information, I welcome it as together we can get the history right
when Breitling sold out after the bankruptcy there is no documentation on what actually is true, therefore it is important that we all help each other to document what we've learned so that future questions can be answered by treds like this
