Hi

Need some advice.

I am looking at getting a very nice condition 1809. Here is the question. The crystal has several deep scratches and I'm not sure ploywatch will get them all out.
So should I try for a NOS crystal problem is there aren't many if any out there. Or replace with a close fit? Or stay will original crystal and try to polywatch out
as much as I can?

Also it does not have the OEM Bracelet on it what should I look for as an alternative (old style mesh? ).

I'll post pics when I get the watch.

Cheers

Mike

Crystal is almost a 'consumable' on a watch this old, not many people will be concerned with whether it's perfect or not, so if it doesn't bother you then get something functional. I think Paul (vintage) has a contact for original style bracelets.

Not quite OEM OEM but recommended through Paul...

www.squinky.com

he's got a lot of NOS stuff from the same company that used to make it for companies such as Breitling... of course the clasp won't have the B logo on there but it's the same thing...

I'm still wanting a bracelet for my 2110 but can't quite pull the mental trigger on a bracelet for 200 bucks...

I should get crackin before it's all gone though...
