Post subject:  Question about 1806 and vintage

Hello,

I tried to do a search but didn't find it (must be old age). Could someone please tell me how many turns a Calibre 11 and 12 take per day and it's direction(s) as well? Also I was told that more care needs to be taken with a vintage but not too sure what that means (e.g. more frequent service or to be worn less frequently?-not sure what it entails regarding older watches. I'm just uncertain about these two points and any help is really appreciated. Thanks for listening :)

Would highly recommend not putting it on a winder.

The auto wind mechanism is fairly fragile and parts are hard to come by. Either let it run down when not worn or manually wind it - please

Oh yeah do some searches on the caliber 11-12 and you'll sense my paranoia too...

Good thing I don't have a winder.
