Post subject: | Who can identify this Breitling? |
Can anyone tell me if this is an original Breitling? It's claimed to be from the 1920's, and unfortunately I have no additional information, apart from the two pictures and the fact that it's gold colored. Regards, John |

The one certainty from those pics is isn't 1920s or any where near, one reason being the script "B" and block letters for the Breitling logo, the case and dial design don't fit the era either. |

Not to mention that they didn't move to Geneva until 1952. Style wise it could be a Breitling, but we are going to need more info to be able to say for sure. A movement picture is necessary for sure as it's not uncommon to replace the movement with a non Breitling one, and the model and serial numbers from the caseback would also be a big help. |
