I would need to check the books as I don't recognise model 156 off the top of my head, although it looks broadly correct for the period. Serial number is indeed 1945 and the unsigned movement is consistent with that period. The case is kinda unusual, but there were a lot of different cases in use at this point and the caseback stamping is 'Breitling like'. I don't see anything obviously wrong with it. |

Thank you very much for the speedy response. I would love to find out the name of the model if possible. Also can anyone recommend somewhere to get a valuation as at present it is not on my house insurance and a rough guide would let me know whether it needed to go on or not. I inherited the watch along with a MUDU doublematic? I'm looking into that one also as it needs work. Thanks again. |

These early dress watches aren't particularly valuable, for insurance purposes I would say $500 - $750 although sale price will be lower. |
