Hello All,
Just got this in:
The dial looks good to me but the back is only marked 18kt, below that 750 and below that in a small box the number 122. No other numbers or markings. On the inside of the back there are no markings, below that is a dust cover marked "metal" and again the number 122. The movement appears to be a Venus 178 but is not marked Breitling. Thoughts? Any input is appreciated, thank you! Pictures below:

Categorically not a Breitling.

Breitling gold cases were never double backed. Their gold was thick enough that they didn't need a secondary back.

movement is a Venus 170
regarding the authenticity Roff has said it all. A late 40s, early 50s Chronographe Suisse, not a Breitling, no part of this started life in a Breitling workshop.
