Which would it be? Why?
Looking for suggestions, and/or maybe I missed a model in my search.
Thank you for your time, and input.

1806 - no question for me.

Probably the definitive Breitling of the time with all of the excitement of the new automatic chronograph combined with the classic Navitimer.

I was leaning in that direction, I really like that model.

An 1806 without a doubt, I love mine (albeit a '69), absolutely timeless!

I certainly wouldn't mind a GMT too... rare beasts those...

1809 Cossie.
Same reasons stated for 1806, plus in the early 70's, man was still travelling out to the Moon [albeit with 12 hour Omega's], but I like the connection to the era.

All good choices. Big cases rock.

I too have a weakness for the GMT.

Ok this one I really really like.

Time to start saving. Everyone needs a birth watch.

Can I ask what the reason for your question is unixshrk?

Is it academic or are you looking to get one?

If the latter a couple more I'd throw into the pot if you don't want to a large case.

I've always liked the look of the 2110 chronomatic, again very much of the period.

Also the Datora 2031, which features a hand wound movement. I think this would be a very robust daily wearer.

I also like the 2111: But he said "only one", so I decided to go with the technology innovator 1806/1809.
btw, a very nice 2111 was sold on the bay tonight (BIN at a reasonable price and I did not see it fast enough)

I know but it's an impossible request. LOL.
