Need the vintage expert eyes on this one, please. A 1947 Chronomat 769 that looks nice to me, but ......

Only looked at the movement shot, but the export code has been removed from the balance cock which implies to me that it wasn't BOW or WOG, and that means a non Breitling movement.

That movement has been swapped into an original case with original hands and dial (crown appears replaced). I don't have trouble with such a restoration, if the seller is honest about it. This looks like a deception.

And, I'm not keeping close track, but I think we saw that case up for auction on eBay just a short while ago. [I've got a movement and dial in search of a case.]

Actually, in the light of Timestore“s explanation about the history of gold cases after WWII this is one of the better things that could have happened to the dial and movement, the case is nice and authentic (I think), dialwise it is at least not "frankened".
