Am guessing you've had a look at the Navitimer site:

I've never seen that website before. Great to see those special editions - never even heard of some of them. Amazing how many great models are made purely for Japan. :(

:) Thanks for all the positive feedback. Thanks to Roffensian for all of your knowledge and guidence. I found a local watchmaker with credentials. I could'nt be happier (the bezel is now correctly aligned, maybe that is why California was burning and shaking, Hmmm?). Luckly, it only needed a new crystal and some cleaning to the white outer dial. He polised the case where needed, and left some of the years scaring, but I am ok with that. How could a piece go without some charachter marks over 40 years.

Now It's time to find a box, and period correct manual?

And Mucho Thanks to the Web Administrator. This site has helped soo much and without any lost time (no pun entended).

Sorry guys, I made an assumption that the site was well known. The easier URL for it is www.navitimer.net, and it is definitely the definitive site for older Navitimers. Like anything else, don't use it as the only source, but it's definitely a good place for comparison pictures and some interesting and unusual variants.

Stunning....
Superb job on that!

still looking for an 806 myself- restored, unrestored or battered with attention needed, makes no difference to me.
Being me though, not helped by wanting one particular quirky varient which seemingly is not that common to find.. oh well, one will turn up sooner or later... :(

I whiled away a bit of time on that site yesterday! Interesting to see the Aviation models by O&W got a mention - I know a place that sells them and I've really like one or two of the models. Pretty cheap too.... 850GBP.
