how do you like this one ?
dial must be refinished, although the seller claims it is "all original", but how is the rest ?

thought so.
Just to understand , Roff: You think reporting those "vintage" fakes to ebay is a fruitless endeavor ? This "garbage" is currently going for more that US$ 1,000 !

Unless it's an obvious one - like a CyS with Breitling on the dial as well, eBay won't shift it - the vast majority of vintage watches on eBay are frankenwatches or out and out fakes, and many of them are from South American sellers with well over 1,000 feedback at close to 100%. eBay just won't do anything about them because they don't have the expertise to call it and make good money on the transactions.

However, being a good Canadian boy with an English upbringing I would never say endeavor. Endeavour, quite possibly :poke:

ok, Roff, will accept your expertise (as always) and give up on saving the world from South American "vintage" fakes, hope to get smart enough to save myself, at least !

Endeavo(u)rwise: sorry, my native language is German, and even if I can express my thoughts adequately in English, I quite often mix British and American orthography, seem to be unable to make up my mind, still learning that, too.

Good to see the Queen's English still being spoken by her Canadian subjects. :poke:

Well as I spent the first 25 years of my life in England I guess it's not surprising.
