I have recently bought a vintage 1950's Breitling with a F690 with the number on the back as 2505_25 how can i tell if it is a frankenwatch? sorin |

HI, my info shows a 2505/25 as ''round case, central second, automatic. Any chance of photo's. |

Could well be correct with a Felsa movement, but photos of the dial, movement and inside and outside of caseback will allow us to say for sure. |

Serial number says 1956. The watch looks all original to me except the redone dial. |

vintage wrote: Serial number says 1956. The watch looks all original to me except the redone dial. 1952 I think Paul (that first digit looks like a 6), but agree that it looks fine. The dial is obviously redone, but by someone who knew what they were doing - it looks period correct. |
