Don't recognize 88/28 off the top of my head but it is consistant with Felsa Automatic moonphase Datoras - there were 66/26, 93/28 and 95/28 versions for sure. Can't comment on the movement but the script Breitling on the caseback looks like it has been added later - common attempt to add to the watch's 'realness'. |

actually-the 88-28 does show up in a breitling book as a real number... any other opinions? estimated date (I suspect 1948-52?) also what language is in the dial? what is mer? |

In my reference book It shows 88/28 as'' Round case, central second, full calendar, moon phase.'' but NOT automatic, thats shown as being the 89/28 ''Datora''. |
