http://cgi.ebay.com.au/BREITLING-Uhr-Na ... 35a3dd64b9

Looks legit to me.. this seller also has some very unusual and rare 'lings which seem a tad odd.. like a 806 from the Iraqi airforce...

anyways, if i could garner some thoughts on the above.. if its legit is it worth the money? keen to have the experts help me.. ive caught the breitling bug!

I am sure others will chime in ,

my view,
"is it legit ?"

with this seller who knows, he doesnt have a good record or standing so even tho it looks good at 1st glance it may not be 100% correct , but i cant see anything immediately wrong with it

"is it worth the money"

i'd say its about 3x overpriced . @ 15K euro or USD $20K you should be able to do a lot better !!

The writing on, and the style of, the photo on the advert seem very familiar. I have seen a lot of Navitimers advertised in this style ? all from the same seller.

Personally, I would avoid this seller at all costs.

Chrono24.com and ebay are my usual recommendations.

Seller is a psychopath, and I would never buy from him (as I doubt that any members of this Forum will) the watch is not that bad, the Val 72’s was born with matte silver plated hands, and the hands on his watch has been painted white.

The price is a bit high, but I would like to see where Dracha will find a good 1954 Val 72 at a 3rd of his asking price ?

Are you looking for a Val 72, or just a black/black AOPA ?

Read my article about Navitimers here, and feel free to get in touch with me, I might be able to help you, my mail address is in the bottom of the article.

The seller has to use a number of related eBay accounts because he himself has been banned by eBay. I have never seen a piece that he has been trying to sell that was not overpriced and this is no different. As Kurt says the watch looks OK if not 100% original, but you don't need the headache of dealing with this guy.

I kinda figured it was him...

I would avoid him like the plague...

. . . that the sweep seconds hand appears to be for a Co-Pilot/Avi. Maybe all the hands have been replaced, but it is a mis-matched set.
