Can't do anything without pictures. You can attch jpg files up to 250k directly to the posts, larger than that (or a different format) then you need to follow the instructions here - viewtopic.php?f=5&t=453

Nice piece. Prior to the known serial numbers so earlier than 1944, which is why there's no reference number on it. Movement is a Venus 150/152.

As Paul says, pre 1944, likely 42 / 43 timeframe.

The only weird thing for me is the 3 minute marks on the subdial - I've not seen those on a watch this early before, more usual from about 1947 onwards.

This one has a Venus 165 or 175 as noted by the separate 4th wheel bridge. The 150 does not have a separate bridge for the 4th wheel. The lack if a signature on the bridge and no reference numbers on the back make this one a little iffy but the dial looks to be the real thing with the correct Breitling script. Craig

Plain bridge is consistent with the age - pre 45 the blank bridge was usual (although obviously easy to recreate as well). I've seen some with and some without model numbers.

Post subject:  I'm much more dubious.

It's my working hypothesis that all Breitlings from at least the late 1930s have a model number on the caseback. After that 1937 catalog, Breitling casebacks pretty well match the catalog copy (and I think quite a bit before, too).

And, yes, if that's a re-applied script "Breitling," it is an outstanding reproduction.

If you wish to sell then please post the watch in the Buy / Sell / Trade section ensuring that the post complies with the rules posted in that area.
