Hi there. just bought this Breitling watch which suppose to be from 1947 The serial number is 7194 707413. I would like to have this confirmed. Does anyone know? |

Hi, if 7194 is the factory number and 707413 the serial number, it´s correct. Movement is from the 40´s. Probably restored dial. |

Might be a Breitling but it's not completely original. Definitely redone dial. The reference number is correct for a 1946 model but the serial number says 1955. It has the earlier style Breitling logo on the dial which changed in 1952 to the stylized 'B'. Possibility is when the dial was redone the earlier logo was used instead of the correct 1955 'B'. Without a definite look at both sides of the back cover it's hard to say for sure. |

At best it's a frankenwatch, and I think that's generous. |
